No. I do not believe that words can never hurt a person. A hurtful statement or even name calling can do much harm to a person mentally. In fact, harmful words can cause a person to feel low or have a low self-esteem, thus hurting them. Yes, compared to "sticks and stones" which "break our bones", the damage caused by words to a person may seem insignificant, but, we cannot just say that it does not hurt a person because it does.

Session 3

a) The gaming industry in Singapore is becoming more advanced and is gaining more recognition . Although it is progressing, it is still relatively hard to make it in such an industry as it takes one to be really good at it to make it in the gaming world.

b) He had perseverance and strive for the best. This allowed him to excel and also allowed him to mature and love what he was doing, which was working on games.

He should not open the file as there may be viruses on it. Also, sometimes these emails might be hoaxes and are schemes for people who want to cheat people off their money. Even though the article is real, it is very easy for people to gain access to such articles with the internet.

Session 1

The clip is to create awareness in people who do not know that the internet is not actually a safe place and that they have to be cautious when using it. It shows us the consequences if we are not careful when surfing the internet, such as how people who are complete strangers to you are able to find out your personal information and are able to know what you just recently did.
